For someone who takes so much care in crafting lyrics, I really don't remember all that much of what I write. The lyric sheets to most of these songs are long gone, lost in notebooks, buried in piles of songs that never got (or deserved) a recorded treatment. What's left in my mind is usually one or two lines that stick out, and those few lines, the few meaningful ones, are what are on these pages.
