- Nazareth - My girlfriend, Ariana, gave me a set of lyrics that she'd written one day. I really liked them, wrote some music for it, rearranged the lyrics a bit to fit the music, and recorded the entire song in about an hour and a half.
- Whatever Makes You Happy - I'm a huge Paul Westerberg fan. Have been ever since I first heard his stuff. Suicaine Gratifaction was an underrated and underappreciated album that had its share of gems on it, and this is one of them. This is also the first recording I ever finished on four-track.
